Christmas Fancy Dress at Matalan

With Halloween now out of the way Matalan are starting to bring in stocks of Christmas fancy dress. Having a grand daughter of just 3 months old I have a renewed interest in some of the items for the little ones. They have Santa suits and a reindeer romper suit, but I was particularly taken with these really cute reindeer bootees! Available for ages 0 to 3 months and 3 - 6 months for just £2.50. I'm always fascinated (and usually horrified) by the creation or addition of new words to the English language and one I've recently come across is cosplay. It seems to have come from the world of comic fans and computer nerds (another new word!) and means trying to recreate characters from the world of books, comics or the internet and video games in 3D. It's a combination of costume and play.

For the true cosplay afficianado, only a costume they have created themselves is sufficient to be acceptable.
